Leah Jones
OUR FOUNDER AND FACILITATOR
Leah was born and raised in Mississippi in a house surrounded by dogwoods. She attended college in southern California where she secured her bachelor’s degree in counseling and met her husband Andy. Life took their growing family from SoCal back to Mississippi for seminary before ultimately settling down in North Carolina where Andy pastored a congregation. In 2012, the family moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee where Andy accepted a position working for a Christian organization before launching Roundtree.
While raising her family, Leah also thoroughly enjoyed her time working at Covenant College where she developed a love for mentoring students. These relationships stirred and sharpened her conversation skills and applying the truth of God’s Word to life issues. Leah completed a master's degree in counseling and for a season worked as a substance abuse counselor. Recently, she completed Narrative Focused Trauma Care certification Level 1 with The Allender Center.
Leah started Front Porch Circle to connect her experience as a counselor with the realities facing pastors’ wives. She understands from personal experience the unique issues they face and wants to provide them a safe and structured environment to grow.
The experience of being a pastor’s wife to a phenomenal congregation afforded Leah the experience of isolation in the middle of loving and intentional parishioners. This insight has given her the desire to serve other pastors’ wives by providing them confidential opportunities for support.
Peace Talks
RETREAT & CONFERENCE SPEAKER
“Leah showed us things about God and the way He made us that I’ve never heard taught so well. God in His goodness created us for fellowship, relationships, and for Him. Her approach is honest, Biblical, scientific, and she is a joy to listen to. I left this time with her and the other women inspired and humbled by God’s design for us. This was my first time meeting Leah and I immediately felt like I met a friend. She has such an authentic gift of speaking.”
